“Ready for your future” will be the slogan underpinning Elring’s participation at Automechanika in Frankfurt/Main from September 13 to 17, 2016. Visitors to the trade show will be able to immerse themselves virtually in the world of Elring’s products or find out about its expanded service concept. New product highlights from the Original Equipment segment and a cross-section of the company’s extensive gasket portfolio will also be on show.
From its new location at Booth E11 in Hall 4.0, Elring will enable interested visitors to immerse themselves virtually in its innovative world of products via a pair of 3D glasses. “We are going to be presenting various engine models and showing what kind of solutions Elring can provide for each one,” explains Dirk Willers, head of the Aftermarket division at ElringKlinger AG. Proving that it is indeed “Ready for the future,” Elring will be focusing here on the latest engines from a range of manufacturers and demonstrating how it already has solutions ready to meet the requirements of tomorrow.
As well as looking ahead on the technology front, Elring’s participation at the trade fair will also be dominated by its high-performance service concept. Elring helps to boost its partners’ commercial success not only with a wide range of spare parts but also by providing relevant specialist information and practical training. The main focus in this area will continue to be on e-learning in the future. A virtual classroom will also be on show alongside the well-known Elring Academy, which can also be clicked through at the booth and which is continuously having new content added. “Our virtual classroom gives our global customers a further opportunity to receive training without having to come on-site in person. Our technical webinars are held live, permitting direct conversations via audio conference and text chat,” says Willers.
Website relaunch to coincide with Automechanika
Right on time for the start of the world’s leading trade show for the automotive industry, the Elring website is being unveiled in a new, responsive design with added content. “Another new feature lies in how we are targeting our users in workshops or the retail trade,” explains the head of division. “We let them switch to the area that’s relevant for them right from the homepage.” Whilst trade partners can find information on storage systems or datasheets quickly, content of interest to workshop experts – new products, blown-up drawings, and much more – is also simple and straightforward to locate. It goes without saying that all the content on the current site will also be available in its new incarnation – including new assembly videos, which will also be going online at the time of the trade show.
OE expertise and new aftermarket products
The success of the “Elring – das Original” brand is founded on the innovatory prowess and original equipment expertise of ElringKlinger AG. For this reason, the company’s booth will also once again be showcasing OE products, from gaskets to lightweight plastic components and modules such as valve covers and oil pans. A Volvo truck engine will be on display to show visitors exactly where each product is fitted. “We will also be able to unveil some innovations in terms of our spare parts,” Willers says. “For instance, we have improved the temperature stability of our gaskets, which can now withstand temperatures of over 300°C for a time instead of 180°C as previously. Our corresponding online sealant wizard will show you which product is ideal for your specific requirement,” he promises. Of course, a cross-section of Elring’s extensive range of gaskets will also be on show.
Featuring a new, responsive design and added content, Elring’s new website will go live to coincide with Automechanika 2016.
